A view of the future: Internet business built on Windows NT. The Internet is a major driving force in the computer industry today. By harnessing it with the services of Microsoft Windows NT, you are equipped to develop the next generation of business server applications. INSIDE MICROSOFT WINDOWS NT INTERNET DEVELOPMENT delivers an authoritative overview of the complex issues involved in building these business applications, and it explains why Active Server greatly simplifies their development. Content is reinforced by partial case study information drawn from the author’s several projects and clients, with sample code on CD-ROM illustrating how the various technologies are applied. Major sections of the book are devoted to Microsoft Transaction Server and to Active Server Pages. Code samples are drawn from a variety of development languages. “[Author] Ronan [Sorensen] has captured two years of practical experience in developing mission-essential Internet applications for NASDAQ in this book. His Microsoft component-based solutions for projects including Nasdaq.com and Nasdaq-OnLine.com are used daily by over a quarter of a million NASDAQ customers.
